This flight computer is based on my small digital barometric altimeter, the small accelerometer and the UV apogee sensor.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/FRO2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-935\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/FRO2.jpg\" alt=\"FRO2\" width=\"1800\" height=\"874\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/FRO2.jpg 1800w, http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/FRO2-300x145.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/FRO2-1024x497.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/BOT.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-936\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/BOT.jpg\" alt=\"BOT\" width=\"1800\" height=\"602\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/BOT.jpg 1800w, http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/BOT-300x100.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.blog.exrockets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/BOT-1024x342.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This flight computer has excellent functionality with 4 high current outputs and the possibility for installation on the outer surface of the rocket body.\u00a0 The main characteristics are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Barometric altitude measurement up to 18km<br \/>\n\u2013 High g acceleration sensor<br \/>\n&#8211; External temperature digital sensor<br \/>\n&#8211; Audio buzzer for audio indication and tracking purposes<br \/>\n\u2013 40 samples per second \/ 13 bit ADC<br \/>\n\u2013 7 minutes recording time<br \/>\n\u2013 Igniters connectivity check for all four channels (LEDs for each channel will show the status of the igniter)<br \/>\n\u2013 USB connection<br \/>\n&#8211; Serial (USART) port for future communication with wireless telemetry<br \/>\n\u2013 6.5 to 16 VDC power supply with on-board ON-OFF switch<br \/>\n\u2013 20A (60A pulse) MOSFET for each channel<br \/>\n\u2013 Selectable on-time for each channel (between 0.1 and 5 seconds)<br \/>\n&#8211; Selectable apogee detection method (UV sensor or barometric sensor)<br \/>\n\u2013 4 individually programmable outputs where each output can be set up for one\u00a0 of the following events:<\/p>\n<p>1.
